Welcome to Hollies Farm

 

Jan and Terry welcome you to Hollies Farm smallholding.  Situated just outside the village of Little Ness, Shrewsbury in the beautiful county of Shropshire.  Built in the 17th century, the cottage still retains many exposed beams and internal sandstone walls. We are surrounded by fields and on the edge of Nesscliff Country heritage Park ,but only one and half miles from the A 5 trunk road.Hollies Farm

We keep Dexter cattle, a small flock of sheep (see the lambs in the spring) a few free-range hens and Ricki the horse. We grow raspberries, tayberries and redcurrants that are available for sale in the season and make our preserves.

Our double room with en-suite has an adjoining sitting /family room complete with hospitality tray and fridge, offering you every comfort and privacy during your stay.

Breakfast includes outdoor reared Gloucester Old Spot sausage and bacon, produced and sold at the local farm shop and our own free-range eggs, or vegetarian alternative if preferred.
Evening meal is available on request.

Take a complimentary tea, with fresh baked scones and watch the birds in the garden. garden

If you do not have your own transport we can arrange to pick you up at local bus or train station.
There are so many public footpaths and bridleways close by for you to explore you don’t need the car.
We welcome walkers and cyclists.
Come and spend a few days with us and enjoy our glorious Shropshire countryside, where on a clear night you really can see the stars.
Hollies farm is ideally situated for attending events at Park Hall Oswestry. Shrewsbury, Adcote School, Packwood School and Baschurch
